Ang 849
The scripture is the centerpiece. A high-end editorial feel for parents who care about lineage — sepia, cream, and quiet authority.
We've prepared five distinct design concepts for KOR's new website. Each explores a different direction for tone, narrative, and trust. Review, compare, and pick the one that feels right — or combine elements from several.
Each concept is a full website — seven pages deep, built with real copy, real structure, real navigation. Click into any preview to explore.
The scripture is the centerpiece. A high-end editorial feel for parents who care about lineage — sepia, cream, and quiet authority.
The raga is the brand. A dark, immersive treatment where every program becomes its own melodic mode — sixty raags, sixty stories.
Parents pick a teacher, not a school. Founder-led documentary feel — one voice, twenty-five years, full lineage on the page.
Music school as if it were a great product. Bright, friendly, friction-free — for parents who just want lessons that kids look forward to.
A modern museum of Gurmat Sangeet. Big scripture quotes. Programs as chapters. Built for the curious learner who wants to understand first.
A short distillation of what the existing KOR site is — and what the redesign needs to fix.
Existing site runs on a stock WordPress theme — Meloo 2021. Off-the-shelf feel with no narrative.
No dedicated /programs/ or /faculty/ pages. Curriculum and teachers — the entire pitch — are buried.
Audio samples on the current site (real teaching recordings) are the strongest authenticity signal — and the weakest surfaced.
Scripture lineage — Ang 849, Guru Granth Sahib citations — is the unique trust signal. The redesign must let this breathe.
From demo to launch — without the agency runaround.
Look through all five directions. Bring your team. Bookmark what you like.
Notice which one feels closest to KOR. The voice will tell you.
Typography from one. Color from another. Structure from a third. We'll merge what fits.
We build the production site on the chosen direction. Seven pages, real copy, real launches.
The questions every KOR stakeholder will ask — answered in one paragraph each.
"What if we pick the wrong direction?"
Each variant shares the same underlying content — only the visual treatment changes. We can mix and match: typography from Variant A, color from Variant D, structure from Variant E. After you pick a direction, the production site is built from scratch on the chosen foundation. Nothing about the variants is throwaway — every layout decision is reusable.
"Will our existing content survive the redesign?"
Yes. All seven pages — Home, About, Programs, Faculty, Gallery, Register, Contact — carry over verbatim where it serves you, and are rewritten only where a photo essay or a quote-led layout can do more with the same information. We never invent facts about the school, the teachers, or the lineage.
"Will our SEO and Google rankings drop?"
We keep the same URL structure, the same meta tags, the same schema.org markup, and add structured data for the local business and the MusicSchool schema. Page-speed stays above 90 on Lighthouse mobile. We submit the new sitemap and run a 30-day post-launch crawl-and-fix loop — included.
Anonymous one-line feedback goes to the project lead. No login, no friction, no tracking.
A 30-minute walkthrough is enough. We'll line up the variants, hand you the comparison notes, and listen.
