I started teaching the raags the Gurus composed in 1998 — a Hindustani classical inheritance that the Guru Granth Sahib itself preserves deserve a school. Twenty-five years later, every one of those raags is still taught here.
Gurmit Kor is the founder and principal teacher at KOR. His students — from Surrey and across the Lower Mainland — have gone on to perform kirtan at gurdwaras, compete internationally, and pass the tradition to their own children.
